LTC Partnership Certification Class Coming to Rockford!

This class has been approved by the Illinois Division of Insurance for 8 hours continuing education for the new Long Term Care Partnership Program. All current producers selling LTC will need to receive certification by July 1, 2009. This course will cover all the changes under the Defecit Reduction Act of 2005 and meets the requirement under NAIC Model Law 640 and 641 dealing with Long Term Care Partnership. This class is provided by Education Concepts Unlimited and sponsored by NAIFA Illinois.

COST: $60.00 Members
           $75.00 Non-Members

Signup for this class with take place in August. The class is from 9-5 so lunch will be available for those who sign up for it ahead of time, otherwise you are on your own. Cost for lunch yet to be determined.


Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
RAIFA is proud to announce participation in this years Making Strided Against Breast Cancer Walk. The "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk will be held Saturday, October 25th in Martin Park. Registration is 8 AM and the walk begins at 9 AM. If you would like to be a member of our team, please call Jo Minor at 815-332-6700 ext. 117. If you cannot walk but would like to contribute, please call Jo and give her the amount of your donation. All donations will be made to the American Cancer Society for the "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk.

Here we are again, making changes to serve you better. As you can see, we've redesigned our web site to make it easier to read and easier to use. You can now even turn in your reservation for our monthly luncheons right here on the site by going to our Contact RAIFA page and filling out the simple form. We'll be posting all the info here that we used to send out in LifeNotes, so be sure to check back often. We'll let you know any time something changes so you know to visit the site. So take a look around. Let us know, too, if there are things you'd like to see on the site, because it's YOUR site. We want to serve you better!
